Ramos, de Venecia, Villafuerte out of party loop, officials say

Former President Fidel Ramos and Rep. Jose “JdV” de Venecia of Pangasinan matter little in the new party that recently sprang from the two administration parties that they either helped found or strongly supported. Even Rep. Luis Villafuerte of Camarines Sur, the former president of the Kabalikat ng Malayang Pilipino (Kampi), is inconsequential to the new party. Then-Vice President Gloria Arroyo founded Kampi in 1998.
