NOLI LEADS TIGHT RACE FOR PALACE

Vice President Noli de Castro again topped the latest survey on probable presidential candidates by Pulse Asia, which also reported that the elections—if held today—would be a tight race among five people. De Castro was preferred to be the next president by 18 percent of the respondents, but he was closely followed by Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero (17 percent), former President Joseph Estrada (15 percent), Senator Manuel Villar Jr. (14 percent) and Senator Manuel “Mar” Roxas 2nd (13 percent).
